Tabloids have been famously cruel to her not because of her drug addiction or other problems, but because of her weight. All the negativity from outside sources took a big toll on her self-esteem.

#1 Stop “Emotional eating”:

One secret to Kelly Osbourne weight loss has been the realization that she was eating emotionally.

Especially after leaving rehab, Kelly started replacing drugs with food and putting on more pounds. She had always struggled in the past because as soon as something would upset her she would eat to help soothe her.

Joining the “Dancing with the Stars”, the crew helped Kelly Osbourne lose weight by making her aware of her horrible eating habits.

Her dance partner put her on a healthy diet and she soon realized how much better she felt when she ate healthy versus when she was filling her body with fatty foods.

#2 Stop hating the way you look:

Kelly had always been self-conscious about the way she looked, but she realized that if she continued to hate herself she would never make changes to better her figure or her life.

A big obstacle for Kelly Osbourne’s weight loss was self-esteem; but once she made a decision to stop hating the way she looked, she gained confidence and motivation to go to the gym.

One way she helped to change her attitude was to wear cute outfits and put on a little bit of makeup. Seems simple, but it really helped her get over her self-esteem issues.

But through trials and tribulations, she has lost 50 pounds overall. Now that she is at a goal weight of 112 for 5’2” frame, she has started to allow herself to indulge every once in a while.

Things she used to eat all day long like pizza and cookies are now sometime things. She chooses water over pop and made other changes to her diet to keep fit.

After her time on Dancing with the Stars, Kelly dropped 20 pounds. However, after the show she had a minor setback gaining a few of the pounds back.

She didn’t want to lose what she had achieved. Sharon, Kelly’s mother and a judge on the X-Factor and Ozzy’s manager, helped Kelly book a personal trainer and continue down her path of weight loss.

Kelly has now lost and kept off a total of 50 pounds. She mixes up her exercise regimen rotating between cardio, circuit training, yoga, and Pilates. She does up to 30 minutes of one of those every single day. She sticks to a healthy eating plan six days a week and allows herself one day to cheat.

Kelly Osbourne has overcome many obstacles, including three different stints in rehab, but has now overcome her drug addiction and her unhealthy lifestyle to achieve the healthy body she has always wanted. She never thought she would be in a bikini on the cover of a magazine, but now she has. Before the cover photo shoot she had never worn a bikini in her entire life.

Kelly Osbourne’s main secret to weight loss and achieving a healthy lifestyle was learning to love her so she could give herself the attention she deserves. After that, she has employed what has worked for so many people in their weight loss struggle, to live an overall healthy life, not to go on a series of crash diets.

A healthy lifestyle is what works in the long term. She now enjoys her higher energy levels and slimmer frame because she was dedicated to make things work.
